Nuevo Vallarta fishing report september 9,2010

http://www.puertovallartas.com/
The friendly folks at Sailing/Fishing Unlimited are ready to serve all your leisure time desires. SAILING THE BAY OR DEEP SEA FISHING or just exploring the bay for fun. Owned and operated by Peter Vines. We have been offering our services in Nuevo Vallarta for 26 years .

The Area
While Banderas Bay offers the most beautiful water of any resort in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico.
Being the largest natural bay (bahia) in Mexico, it's no wonder it is home to the Humpback Whales who come to Vallarta every year to have their young. Giant Manta rays, Sea Turtles and Dolphins can be found year round. Nuevo Vallarta fishing is also home to some of the best year around Big Game Fishing in the world! Several World Billfish Championships are held here in all year round. Puerto Vallarta fishing is right next door as we are in the same bay. Deep sea fishing in Nuevo Vallarta is the best I've seen in 25 years of fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta with some of the biggest marlin and tuna ever caught here. We are catching tuna, marlin, Wahoo, sailfish, ,sharks and many other kinds of fish here in Nuevo Vallarta

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report september 9,2010

The fishing has been great offshore and there are big tuna and marlin, last few days and we have been getting marlin inside the bay, mahi-mahi , sailfish and more sailfish on the longer fishing charters, the weather is perfect and staying 85 deg with lots of sun. The tuna were in the bay but the smaller ones, The banco and corbetena has been hot for the big ones. All the folks had a great time yesterday and landed huge sailfish. We fished the bay yesterday for small game and had a fantastic trip caught about 30 fish mahi mahi, bonita and yellow tail.

We will be gearing up now for our annual sailfish, marlin, mahi mahi tournament which is in November, I have one boat open at this time, so if you are interested send me an e mail for more details

Fishing Report Nuevo Vallarta
July was a great month for big fish but August will be even better.. We are still catching lots of sailfish and marlin. The big tuna are here as well. Some days we get them and some days not. The sardines are everywhere and that means we can hook up some days 4 to 6 sails a day. There is also a lot of bonita and other small fish that are holding the big ones around the morro and corbetena. The sails and marlin are here and will just get better as water temp rises ( about 85 deg. now ) along with huge schools of sardines show up in and outside of the bay. The fish are moving in closer. it will be wide open here for all big game fish and small game on the shorter trips.. As of now we are catching sails, tuna , snapper, mahi-mahi and some of black/blue marlin. There are lots of yellowtail around 20-30 lbs. . On some days they have been schooling offshore at some of our better spots for fishing.

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report september 1,2010

It's the end of the month and gearing up for September, this is the slowest month for tourist here in Puerto Vallarta, but it’s one of the very best months for really big fish
August produced some great days of fishing there were a lot of marlin, tuna, sailfish and mahi mahi caught during the month of august Not to mention the marlin/tuna tournament we had here in La Cruz,
Nay
When we could not get marlin or tuna to bite we would go to corbetena, morro or a few other spots know by the guys that put forth the effort to catch fish for their clients, the pargos were there for the taking
The roosterfish are still hanging around as well using live bonitas or goggle eye
Best bet for month of September is banco or corbentena for our huge tuna or marlin when the water is blue they will be there for the taking
The bigger mahi mahi will be showing up so be sure to take lots of pitch baits to fish around the trash lines or trees and other structures that float inside and outside the bay, the dodos will be there
If you coming with family and want to do a short trip inside the bay you can count on getting torros, bonitas and Spanish mackerel right I said Spanish mackerel they are still here
This coming month I’m offering a fishing/town home rental which can be seen at
http://www.puertovallartas.com/homerentals.html
My place is right on the beach and only a few minutes from the docks
For those of you that want to come and fish with us one day take a look at http://www.puertovallartas.com/fishing.html
Tight lines
